This WE, something special happened. You could even say it was a once in a lifetime event. People who had shared as children their time, their emotions, their feelings, possibly their test papers, people who grew up together and then went their separate ways decided to reunite for the pleasure to reminisce, for a trip down memory lane, for a WE outside of time.

Meeting your school friends a quarter of a century down your life is no small happening. Strangely enough no-one really changes: even from afar, spectacles firmly in place, once you add back the hair, take away the kilos and read the name tag, it's the same person standing in front of you! When you put that person in the same corridor, the same classroom as before, the experience is quite remarkable: I would describe it as enhanced irreality. It's enhanced because everything seems so much smaller! It's surreal because your brain is playing tricks on you, superimposing your memories to what you are seeing, creating a living memory. I've come out of these two days with, for want of a more original description, a fuzzy feeling. It's probably as close as one can get to time traveling. A warning though to all you wannabes: time traveling is not without side effects. Plenty of crying to start. For all you atheists, your faith will be put to trial as God is being frequently summoned in cries from the heart. If these meager impediments don't scare you and you want your own fuzzy feeling, there is a secret ingredient that will get you there; it's called a Liz Fraser. She's precious, she's valuable, she makes it happen. Thank's Liz.

So it's over but what if it was the start of something...
